Priced like infrastructure, not like an agency

The hosted service is metered on monthly active devices, which follows the SDK's footprint and is hard to game. It starts at $25 a month for one app, with a fortnight to try it. What is free is the open-source build, which you run yourself, security included.

What we commit to

Four things that will not change quietly

Each of these is a mistake we watched somebody else make. They are here, next to the prices, rather than in a terms page nobody opens.

  • Never a percentage of your revenue

What your app earns is not ours to meter. The only percentage anywhere in Vouch is on payouts we process for you, which is a service you choose and could do yourself.

  • Going over never stops anything

Extra devices are added to the invoice at the published rate. Your links keep resolving and your devices keep attesting, because they are inside an app you have already shipped, and switching them off to collect a bill would be our outage rather than your upgrade prompt.

  • Push is on every plan, and sending is free

Including the cheapest. No per-notification fee, no campaign limit, no subscriber count. Apple and Google do not charge for delivery and you bring your own keys, so we are not about to charge you for somebody else's free service. The one boundary: sending that is spam rather than product gets a conversation with us, not a surcharge.

  • What you had, you keep

If we ever move a feature to a higher plan, you keep it on the workspace that had it. If we raise a price, you stay on the one you signed up at. Nothing has moved up a tier so far, and the mechanism that keeps this promise is already built rather than merely promised.

FAQ

Questions developers ask

What counts as a monthly active device?
A device that opened your app with the Vouch SDK initialised at least once in the billing month. Test-environment devices are never counted.
Do you take a percentage of my revenue?
No, and we will not. What your app earns is not ours to meter. The only percentage anywhere in Vouch is on referral payouts we process on your behalf, which is a service you choose and can do yourself.
Can I self-host and still use the hosted dashboard?
Self-hosted deployments can optionally connect to the hosted control plane for association file monitoring and risk intelligence, without sending end-user data.
Is there a sales call?
Not before Scale. Every other plan is self-serve, from signup to a working integration.
Is there a free plan?
Not on the hosted service, at any size. The free offer is the open-source build: run it yourself and it costs you nothing, security included. Hosting it for you costs us whether your app has ten thousand users or ten, so the smallest hosted plan is $25 a month for one app. Every hosted plan starts with a fortnight to try it.
What happens if I exceed my included devices?
The extra devices are added to that month's invoice at the published rate, and nothing stops. Your links keep resolving and your devices keep attesting, because they are inside an app you have already shipped and turning them off to collect a bill would be our outage, not your upgrade prompt.
Is push notifications an upgrade?
No. Push is on every plan including the cheapest, and there is no send limit, no campaign limit and no subscriber count. Apple and Google do not charge for delivery and you bring your own keys, so charging you for it would be charging for somebody else's free service. It is metered on the same monthly active devices as everything else, so the bill does not move when you press Send. The one boundary, said here rather than added quietly later: sending in a way that is spam rather than product gets a conversation with us, not a surcharge.
If a feature moves to a higher plan, do I lose it?
No. What you had, you keep, on the workspace that had it, for as long as you keep it. The same goes for your price: if we raise a plan, you stay on the one you signed up at. Nothing has moved up a tier so far, and the mechanism that keeps this promise is built rather than promised.
Two of my apps run on the same phone. Am I charged twice?
Usually yes, and here is why. The device id lives in each app's own keychain or keystore, and Vouch uses no cross-app advertising identifier, so we cannot tell that the two are one person without tracking them. We would rather charge for two devices than build the thing that would tell us otherwise.
