Getting help

Three channels, each for a different kind of problem, and an honest account of how quickly you will hear back.

  • GitHub issues

    Open an issue

Bugs, crashes, wrong behaviour, and anything reproducible in the SDKs, the resolver, the API or the dashboard.

Everything is public, which means the next person with the same problem finds your issue. Include the SDK and version, the platform, and the smallest reproduction you can manage.

  • GitHub discussions

    Ask a question

Questions about how something works, whether an approach is sensible, and what to do when the documentation is unclear.

If the answer turns out to belong in the documentation, it ends up there, and the discussion links to it.

  • Accounts, billing, plan changes, invoices, deleting data, and anything you would rather not post in public.

Email is also the right channel for a suspected security problem: write to us before opening a public issue, and say so in the subject line.

What to expect

Vouch is new and the team is small. There is no support SLA on any plan today, and we are not going to print one we cannot keep. What actually happens: issues and discussions are read on most working days, and email usually gets a first reply within two working days. At weekends and outside working hours it will be slower.

An issue that is reproducible gets fixed sooner than one that is described, so a failing test, a link that misbehaves or an exact request and response is worth more than a paragraph. If something is broken in production and costing you users, say so in the first line and we will treat it that way.

When a fix ships it appears in the changelog, and the issue that reported it is closed with the release that fixed it.

Faster than asking

Link Doctor
If a link opens the browser instead of the app, this answers why in a few seconds, with the fix. It is the question we are asked most, and you do not need us to answer it.
Documentation
Every module, the API reference, and the self-hosting guide. It is searchable, and it is the same source the answers in discussions are drawn from.
Status
Whether the hosted API and the link resolver are answering right now, checked when you load the page.
Privacy and data requests
Access, correction or deletion of personal data goes to privacy@vouch.dev, which is handled under the privacy policy.
